Entrepreneurial leaders meet the OneMBA Class of 2007 during Opening Week
Four leading global executives led a discussion with the worldwide OneMBA class of 2007 on the challenges of global entrepreneurship during their opening week global residency in Washington DC.
Global executives featured in the panel discussion were:
Louise Hulme, finance director for Endeavor Global, Inc., spearheads her organization’s efforts to expand their Entrepreneur Services Operations from five Latin America countries into other world regions. Endeavor Global has been recognized as one of Time Magazine’s “100 Innovators for the 21st Century.”
Alfredo D’Innocenzo, managing director for the De Cecco Group, transferred from Italy to New York to help establish Prodotti Mediterranei, Inc, the exclusive importer of De Cecco pasta products in the US. He was instrumental in assisting the De Cecco Group in the favorable outcome of the Anti-Dumping case brought by the US Dept. of Commerce against the pasta importers.
Amol Joshi, VP of Media Server Business Lines for AudioCodes, is an entrepreneur and inventor who holds four patents for voice-related products and technologies. He was named one of Silicon Valley’s “Top 40 Business Leaders under 40” by the San Jose Business Journal.
Dimple Sahni, associate for L Capital Partners, works with entrepreneurs in technology companies to grow their new ventures into scalable and profitable businesses. As a Kauffman Fellow, she has been recognized as one of the next generation of leaders in the venture capital industry.
Following the panel discussion, the 80 members of the OneMBA Class of 2007 had the opportunity to utilize the expertise of the panelists, who acted as consultants to the OneMBA global teams. Based on recommendations and experience of the panelists, the global teams finalized their strategic expansion plan for a case-based assignment. |
