Dianne Bevelander

Dianne Bevelander is the Executive Director of MBA programs at the RSM, Erasmus University and is also the Academic Director of the OneMBA. Her leadership role was instrumental in the turn-around of profiling RSM, Erasmus University from a relatively unknown business school to an internationally acclaimed business school currently ranked 24th in the world. Dianne has also held several successful strategic leadership and management positions and been responsible for a multi-million euro revenue portfolio. She travels extensively and is an advocate of diversity and inclusion assisting companies to develop learning paradigms that maximize human capital performance. Dianne is responsible for the Personal Leadership Programme across all the MBA program as well as teaches communications and personal leadershiop on various programs globally. Dianne has a BA in sociology and psychology an MBA and is reading for a PhD at the University of Lulea Sweden. Her research interests are in communications and social networks.

Nelda has a bachelor degree in Communications and Public Relations from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. She started to work for Tecnológico de Monterrey in November 2004. Nelda worked for the Alumni Department until April 2007 and was responsible for alumni events, such as conferences, workshops, social and cultural activities. In May 2007, she joined the OneMBA program as program coordinator.
Nicolás Gutiérrez

Nicolás Gutiérrez is the Director of OneMBA at EGADE. He has developed research projects in the areas of Marketing, Finance, Economics and International Trade. At EGADE, he imparts Economic Theory, Economic Environment, Economics for Decision Making and Environmental Administration, as well as Economics II for the Ph.D. Program. Nicolás Gutiérrez has experience in both research and academic areas. He is member of The American Academy of Management , the Southern Agricultural Economics Association, Southern Economic Association and Gamma Sigma Delta, The Honor Society of Agriculture. He has published technical and specialized articles in international journals, and has participated in national and international forums, organized by UNICEF, the University of Florida, the University of Missouri and the University of Texas A&M, Conference Board, Escuela Militar de Ingeniería de La Paz, Bolivia, CEMEX, BANCOMEXT, BANAMEX, CONACYT. He also has experience as a consultant for entities such as CONACYT, Cervecería Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma, USDA, Secretaría de Economía, the Canadian Consulate, and state governments of Nuevo León, Tamaulipas and Aguascalientes.

Brigitta Theleman

Prior to joining UNC in 2008, Brigitta managed client relationships and executive education projects for Duke Corporate Education. Her corporate experience includes leading a program management office within Sara Lee Corporation’s internal consulting organization. She headed change management efforts for a corporate-wide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software implementation and developed implementation tools for project teams. She also developed training programs for sales and service effectiveness for a large financial institution.
Brigitta graduated from North Carolina State University with a B.A. in Communication. She earned an M.A. in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She researched the qualities executives seek in business candidates and compared them against curricula of nationally leading MBA programs.
Brigitta is passionate about helping people develop rewarding careers. She has completed graduate coursework in Career Counseling and Industrial/Organizational Psychology, as well as the Career Development Facilitator curriculum offered by the National Career Development Association.
Penny Oslund

Penny Oslund serves as Executive Director, EMBA Program s at UNC’s Kenan- Flagler Business School . She is responsible for the school’s three MBA for Executives Programs: Weekend, Evening and OneMBA®.
An active member of the Executive MBA Council, Ms. Oslund served on the Board of Trustees and chaired the Benchmarking Task Force from 1994 to 1997. She was elected to a second term in 2002, serving as chair in 2004 and past chair in 2005.
Oslund received UNC Kenan-Flagler’s Weatherspoon Award for exceptional staff service in 1997 and in 2005.
Prior to joining UNC Kenan-Flagler, Ms. Oslund was co-founder and treasurer of Topeka Collegiate School , an independent school in Topeka , KS , and was a buyer for Dayton ’s in Minneapolis, MN.
Ms. Oslund received her MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University .
Peter Brews

Dr. Peter Brews is a professor at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School where he teaches International Management, Strategic IT Management, and Corporate Strategy. He also teaches and consults internationally in these fields. Past and current firms he has worked with include Eastman Chemical, Merrill Lynch, Progress Energy, The Boeing Company, Siemens AG, Lucent Technologies Asia/Pacific (H.K.) Ltd., Mandarin Hotel Group of Hong Kong, Ford Motor Company, LG of South Korea, Barclays Bank PLC, and the Rank Organization. He also participates in Executive Education Programs offered by business schools affiliated with universities in the United States and elsewhere, including the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg (Economics, Global Business, and Strategy), Duke University (Global Business and Strategic IT), and the University of Cape Town (Strategy, Economics, and Global Business). Before joining Kenan-Flagler Peter was a faculty member at the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University, and prior to emigrating to the United States of America in 1989 he was a faculty member of the Graduate School of Business, University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, where over a five year period he taught corporate law, finance, economics, and strategic management in academic and executive programs offered by the School. He also developed an MBA elective on M&As, and a five-day executive program on Strategic Issues in Mergers and Acquisitions. Prior to entering academia, Peter spent four years in investment banking. Peter holds two graduate degrees, one in Business Administration, and one in Law, and two Ph.D.s, (one in Business Administration, and one in Strategic Planning and Policy).

Silvia holds a Bachelor in International Relations from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paul – SP (PUC-SP).
From August 2002 to August 2004 Silvia held the Director position of the MONU-EM Project – the United Nations Model for Highschool – in 4 private schools in São Paulo , teaching students from 15 to 18 years old International Relations and the UN System.
In December 2002 Silvia was the Director of the Arab League Committee in the 4º Edition of the MONU – United Nations Model for Graduate and Post-Graduate students - and in the following year she was the Director of the Organization of the Islamic Conference in the same Model.
Silvia has joined FGV-EAESP and the OneMBA program in May, 2003 working for the Marketing of the Program and its admission process and since March 2004 she holds the Program Director position.
Stavros Panagiotis Xanthopoylos

Dr. Xanthopoylos has joined FGV in 1994 and since then has been involved in academic administration and teaching. He acted as Vice Associate Dean of the Executive Education program at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV-EAESP). Professor of the Production and Operations Management Department where he teaches the required MBA course, "Quality Management" and three optional courses, "Service Quality Management," "Materials Management," and "Strategic Cost and Profit Planning." He is responsible for developing, coordinating, and conducting Executive Company MBAs at firms such as Embraer, Braskem SA and Odebrecht Engenharia e Construção. His research focuses on Knowledge Management and is specialized on how companies leverage their operational knowledge in production, supply chain and quality management. He is a member of the Entrepreneurship Research Center at FGV-EAESP. Dr. Xanthopoylos holds a Doctorate degree in Business Administration from FGV-EAESP and completed his bachelor and post graduate studies in Industrial Engineering at Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo (USP). He has also been very active as a consultant for both the private and public sectors, conducting mainly quality, operations and knowledge management and strategy projects in Brazil, Europe, and Southern Asia.

Michael J. Ferguson

Michael is Associate Dean (Graduate Studies) for the Faculty of Business Administration, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He received his BBS and Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Minnesota. Since joining CUHK in 1997, Michael has taught management and financial accounting for the MBA and Executive MBA Programs. He has received numerous teaching awards including the BA Faculty Outstanding Teacher Award, and the Vice-Chancellor’s Exemplary Teaching Award. His research has been published in leading journals including Contemporary Accounting Research, Journal of Business Ethics, and The Journal of International Financial Management and Accounting.
Alice K. P. Leung

Alice joined the OneMBA Program as Program Manager in January 2008. She has a Masters degree in Training and Human Resource Development from The University of Technology Sidney, Australia. Alice has substantial experience in managing higher and professional education programs and in marketing and administration for graduate-level programs in the region. She is passionate about the OneMBA Program and will make a substantial contribution to building the Program’s success.
