Dr. João Carlos Douat

Professor of Finance

Professor Douat holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and another one of Chemical Engineering from Universidade Federal do Paraná, a Professional Máster of International Business Finance from New York University , and a Ph.D. of Administration from FGV-EAESP.

He has joined FGV in 1991 and since then teaches and researches in the Finance field, especially in Credit Risk Management, Valuation and Financial Strategy.

Professor Douat also works as a consultant for national and international companies.
