Europe: Supply Chains and Sustainability
We update residencies annually, so specific locations and activities change year to year. OneMBA students in the video describe their experiences visiting The Netherlands and Poland. In 2008, OneMBA students visited the developing country of Turkey for the first time.
In The Netherlands, the Class of 2009:
Discussed sustainability initiatives in Europe.
Visited the Port of Rotterdam and learned about its supply chain challenges.
Attended guest speaker lectures highlighting the future of Europe.
They also traveled to Istanbul, Turkey where they:
Explored the city of Istanbul and learned about the socio-political environment of Turkey, as well as Islamic issues and their impact on global business.
Visited local manufacturing sites with a supply chain focus, such as Kordsa (tire/automotive), Polisan (chemical/paint), Toyota and Hyundai.
