Admission Requirements
Professional requirements:
- Work experience: A minimum of seven years of professional work experience is required. Current or expected global business responsibilities are evaluated during the admissions process.
- Exceptional candidates: We occasionally consider an exceptional candidate with less experience who is nominated by a senior executive from their company.
- Advanced Degrees: We value advanced degrees, but they may not be substituted for professional work experience.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership ability and demonstrated senior management potential are required. We prefer candidates with experience managing people, but team leadership and management of projects, budgets, or products will also be considered.
Education and Knowledge Requirements:
- Degree: A bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
- English language skills: TOEFL test scores demonstrate the candidate’s proficiency in English.
- PAEP or GMAT: These tests allow our admissions committee to predict academic potential in the OneMBA Program. PAEP is the Monterrey Tech’s admissions test for graduate programs; it can be taken at any ITESM campus or offices in Mexico, Miami, Central and South America.
- Other knowledge: Basic knowledge of accounting, statistics, economics and Microsoft Excel is critical.
