Module 1: Personal Leadership Development and Global Perspectives
- Personal Leadership Development (PLD): This
course runs throughout the OneMBA Program. It aims to help you
link critical thinking, decision-making and effective implementation
in the context of personal and organizational change.
- North American Global Residency – Global
Perspectives and the US Business Environment: The OneMBA
Program officially begins with Opening Week in North America. This first global residency will provide you with the framework
for the program and brings OneMBA executives, faculty and staff
together for the first time.
Module 2: Managing People and Organizations
- Leading and Managing Global Organizations:
Global managers who develop and foster communication skills and
understand the intricacies of cultural differences hold a key competitive
advantage.
- Global Operations Management: Learning how
operations strategy can be aligned with business strategy relating
to process analysis and supply chain management will be the focus
of this course.
- Economics for Global Business Managers: Spectacular scandals at major multi-nationals have changed the global business environment dramatically, resulting in calls for increased regulation. In contrast, this course explores solutions based on the economic perspective that “people respond to incentive”.
- Financial Statements and Control: This course
deals with two topics: an introduction to financial statement analysis
and an examination of the components of management control systems.
- European Global Residency – Sustainable Europe: This global residency focuses on the
challenges of supply chains and sustainability in both the developed
and emerging economies of Europe.

3: Managing Finance and Marketing
- Global Marketing Management: The
course explores how effective and successful global marketing balances
global integrated strategies and defined local needs.
- Corporate Finance in a Global Environment:
Maximizing corporate value in a global environment requires a clear
framework integrated with a range of international financial concepts.
- Managerial Decision Analysis:
This course presents the art and science of problem solving and decision making.
- Change Management:
To assist with successful transformation projects, organizations
should develop well-planned, well-executed implementation programs
that prepare and enable stakeholders to address the change management
issues that may arise.
- Latin American Global Residency – Global
Finance and Cultural Marketing: OneMBA executives explore
and learn about two dynamic countries, Brazil and Mexico.

4: Managing Strategy
- Strategy in a Global Arena: A key challenge
in developing a global business strategy is being able to effectively
align an origination's resources with its long-term goals while
considering converging global forces and local variations.
- Mergers and Acquisitions:
From a financial perspective, what is the driving force behind the large number of company mergers or take-overs? The answer lies in the creation of value for shareholders, but how does it work?
- Business Negotiating: Negotiation is a fundamental and core process in society. It is a way of resolving conflict and solving problems between groups and individuals. It is an alternative to the use of the law, coercion or various forms of violence.
- Topics in Global Business and Management: The rapid change of global business means that new perspectives are needed to prepare business and management.
- Asia Global Residency – Adapting to a Dynamic
Global Environment: This global residency in Asia examines
complex issues relating to risk and uncertainty, political and
economic transformation and knowledge management from theory
through to practice, combining lectures with company visits.

5: Global Executive Practice
- The Future: Understanding the future
global business environments provides insights into the requirements
of business leadership in the new global economy. This module includes
presenting an in-company action-learning project to a professional
panel.
