Your RSM OneMBA class will be made up of 20-30 executives, the
majority of them living and working in Europe. Our next OneMBA class
begins in September 2008 and completes classes in May 2010. For more
details, see the 21-month calendar. Graduation will take place in
June 2010.
The 21-month program is divided into five components: a start
module, three substantive modules, and a concluding module. You'll
join the other executives of your RSM class at the Rotterdam residencies
approximately once every six weeks.
Module 1:
- Local residency: The program begins
with a three-day local residency. The purpose
of these three days is to orientate you to the program and give you
the opportunity to get to know the RSM team and your fellow RSM executives.
We also begin the Personal Leadership Development course (PLD), which
runs throughout your OneMBA. The focus of PLD in this period is "Communication" - particularly
the complex aspects of managing interpersonal communication.
- Opening week global residency: The
local residency is followed immediately by the first Global Residency in Washington D.C, USA . Here you will meet
your fellow executives from the partner schools of the OneMBA and
be introduced to your first Global Team. The theme of the opening
residency in the US is "Global Perspectives and the US Business Environment".
You will also be developing further the communication theme introduced
in Rotterdam by focusing on the issues and tools for managing effective "virtual" or "globally
dispersed" teams.
Modules 2, 3 and 4: These modules consist
of three extended weekend local residencies (Wednesday afternoon
until Saturday) in Rotterdam and each conclude with a week-long
global residency in Europe, Latin America, and
Asia.
Module 5: The final module is a three-day local residency,
followed by graduation. Participation in OneMBA, Global Executive OneMBA Program requires
careful planning and flexibility with respect to the time allocation
and the scheduling of the program. You may find it a challenge to
manage your work, study and personal life, but, according to executives
who have already completed the program, the rewards are high if you
are willing and able to participate fully in this exciting and stimulating
program.
